Spray paint and polka dots = Happiness
I have officially lost my darn mind doing DIY projects with my husband, and this one has to be one of my FAVORITES!
This was a super frugal, super easy, and fun redo just in time for the beginning of spring! I believe our homes should not be a cookie cutter mold but reflect our unique personalities.
My personality just happens to be polka dots.
We had an ugly brown mailbox, so not me, so not cute and original.
This is where a can of vibrant aqua paint and some vinyl red polka dots come into the story.
I wave my magic wand ( aka my hubby working hard in the backyard) and TADA!!!!!
Look at this ADORABLE mailbox ( Don't roll your eyes and think " tacky" under your breath) Is this not the CUTEST mailbox EVER. Yep, that's what I thought!
Polka dots definitely scream, "This is Krystal's home!"
Where can I find these?
I took to Pinterest and found this adorable," Thank you " sticker for the inside of my mailbox from this sweet little shop on Etsy.
The red polka dots were from this shop on Etsy. ( The owner is SUPER friendly and extremely quick to ship!)
The vinyl address decal can be found here.
The spraypaint was Rust-Oleum Painters Touch 2x in Satin Seaside
Now go and find your fave spraypaint and design something adorable that is totally your style. Preferably with polka dots!
I would love to know what your favorite DIY plan is for the spring, give me a yell in the comments! Bonus points if I can see a photo!
